If you normally upload the contribution file to Workers Pension Trust each month there are a number of checks you need to do to prepare for the change in October. This should allow your file to upload without any delays at the end of next month.
1 Check how your payroll provider will update the file format. Read more on the new format and the various payroll providers. You may need to contact your provider to get the updated format so please do this before you start processing October payrolls.
2 In order to make the upload process as straightforward as possible, check that we have the correct information for your employees. We will not be able to validate the contributions if the information we hold is incorrect.
You can check the information recorded for all your employees by selecting the ‘Update and confirm salaries’ option from your account and downloading a report. Please let us know if any employee records need to be updated. Contact us if you cannot see this option.
3 Please ensure all contributions up to the end of September are uploaded by 9 October at the latest. After the system has been updated in October, all contributions will have to be uploaded in the new format.
