As you will know from our recent communications, we will shortly be moving Workers Pension members and their pension pots to NatWest Cushon’s technology platform. Read on for more information relevant to participating employers and their advisers, and for members.
30 September / 01 October: Changes to contribution process for WPTE employers (transferred from Enhance) become effective (see below)
25 October: Upgrade to NatWest Cushon technology platform commences, disinvestments and payments to members will be paused and not invested, some member services will be limited
07 November: Deadline for receipt of October upload files
11 November: Platform upgrade is scheduled to complete
25 November: Welcome communications issued to all members
The switch to the NatWest Cushon technology platform is scheduled between 25 October 2024 and 11 November 2024.
Please note that disinvestments and payments to members during this period will be paused until the platform upgrade is complete.
Additionally, BenPal, the existing Workers Pension member portal, will offer limited services. Members will be able to log in and view their pension pots, but pending transactions and changes to investments will be paused or unavailable.
Once the upgrade is complete, members will be able to manage their pension using the Cushon app.
If your company has arranged group life insurance for their employees, it will remain in place and won't be affected by the upgrade.
We will provide detailed instructions on accessing the Cushon app directly to members by 25 November.

Once the upgrade is complete, you will be able to manage their pension using the Cushon app.
