The draft Pensions Bill regarding the regulation of Master Trusts was released on 19 October 2016. The Pensions Bill gives the Pensions Regulator new powers to authorise and de-authorise Master Trusts according to strict criteria; the Regulator will publish and maintain a list of authorised schemes.
