We have launched Benpal, our new secure online member portal which allows you to enjoy quick and simple access to your Workers Pension Trust account and help you to manage your pension benefits with ease.

Benpal allows you to:

• Access your pension online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Nominate your beneficiaries online.
• Request pension illustrations.
• View and manage your investment choices online.
• Keep up to date with your pension and fund performance.

You can also use the modeller tool to:

• See the impact on your projected benefits based on the amount you invest and the age you plan to retire.
• Compare the before and after cost to you of contributing more or less.
• Add the value of an existing pension plan to see what your total benefits might be

Look out for your activation details
An email containing unique activation details was sent to active members with email addresses during the Summer 2019.  Active members who have not provided an e-mail address will receive activation details by post in October 2019.  Deferred members will receive activation details later in the Autumn. 

On receipt of the email or activation letter, follow the instructions in order to set up your account.  Once you have activated your personal account you can access it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Annual Pension Statements
Benpal will change the way you receive your annual statement.  Your paper-based pension statement was issued in April 2019.  All future statements and scheme information will be available through your secure Benpal account. 

The Scheme year end has changed from 31 October to 31 December. Your next statement will be as at 31 December 2019.
