New Online Portal for Members

We are very pleased to announce that our new online portal, Benpal, will go live next month.

Benpal will change the way members receive their annual statement.  At the moment, annual statements are being issued by post to some 80,000 members, but all future statements and scheme information will be available on Benpal.

Benpal will enable members to:

  • Access their pension information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Nominate beneficiaries online
  • Request pension illustrations
  • View and manage investment choices 
  • Keep up to date with pension fund performance

Use the modeller tool to:

  • See the impact on projected benefits based on the contribution amounts and planned retirement age
  • Show the effects of contributing more
  • Add the value of an existing pension plan to see what the total benefits might be

In order to set up their Benpal account, we are asking all members to provide their personal email address to register@workerspensiontrust.co.uk quoting their name and the first five characters (two letters and three numbers) of their National Insurance number.

Members who have already provided an email address will receive their unique activation details in May by email.  When members have activated their account, they will have access to their pension information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We would also encourage all employers to provide email addresses for their staff members so that they can access their pension statements on Benpal in the future.
